Weightloss

Ever wonder why it is so hard to lose weight? The antiquated belief of "burning more calories than you eat will cause weightloss" is an over simplification of our very complex human physiology.  If it were really that easy anyone and everyone who ever tried that would lose weight!! The truth of the matter is that it is much more complicated than just calories. Believe it or not HORMONES play a ginormous ( one of my most fave words ever) role in our ability to change our bodies and improve our health!  Hormones like, Estradiol, Progesterone, Testosterone, Cortisol, Ghrelin, Leptin, Thyroid T4 and  T3 and Insulin all play roles directly and indirectly that affect our basal metabolic rate, our ability to store fat, build muscle and our over all well-being.  Hormones are like gears to a watch, every gear has to be working and balanced and in tandem with the others for the watch to keep accurate time.  For our bodies to function at optimal capacity we need our hormones balanced and optimal. Optimizing hormones can begin with nutritional supplementation, dietary modifications and lifestyle changes.  Start with our  full panel of a very comprehensive blood work and get your appointment scheduled.   Let's get you ticking again!!
